Welcome to the New IngridGerdes.com!!

I am thrilled to finally unveil my new site!

Thank you to my friend Alex Fedorov at Fresh Tilled Soil for designing the new site!

Another big thank you to the lovely Erika Gerdes Murray for the new images. Doing a photo shoot with my super talented sister was a blast and you can be sure she didn’t hold back with her honest feedback!

What happens at the end of a photo shoot

“What happens at the end of a photo shoot just before you are eaten alive by mosquitoes.”

On this site you will see current and past news, music, video and images as well as tour and event dates. You can also find links to all of my social media so please join me there as well!

I’m still working on my third album and getting ready to hit the studio. I take a very long time to formulate my vision and complete my songs, but it’s only because I really want to honestly portray the purpose of each song to the best of my abilities. I can barely wait to share the new music I am working on with the world!

The IGB (Ingrid Gerdes Band) is rehearsing away and prepping for some upcoming shows so keep an eye on the events sidebar!

If you want to book the band please contact: info@ingridgerdes.com

As always please visit my FB Fan Page often for updates!

  1. […] Ingrid Gerdes – High Priestess (self-produced): Gerdes’ music exists in a zone that incorporates a blend of soul, country, and pop with a touch of blues.  Her background includes study in opera, followed by a stint at Berklee College of Music.  This is her third release and she composed all of the material on this disc.  Themes are mostly about relationships and Gerdes’ commitment to making her own way as a woman in charge.  Her bio compares her to Dusty Springfield (think Dusty In Memphis) and that is an apt description.  Musical support is provided by Milt Reder (g, formerly with Barrence Whitfield and Susan Tedeschi), Duke Robillard’s rhythm section: Brad Hallen (b) and Mark Teixeira (d), and Aaron Lipp (organ, lap steel).  Click here for videos of Ingrid Gerdes, including the title song from this disc.
